Aissa has been a licensed attorney since November 2010. She worked with a regional accounting firm as a financial auditor and forensic accounting consultant from 2013 to 2019.

Aissa is the sole owner of Aissa I. Garza, PLLC, a forensic accounting and litigation firm. Aissa represents individuals and business entities in criminal and civil litigation. She provides forensic accounting, fraud investigation, and litigation support services. In addition to being an attorney, Aissa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Aissa has conducted fraud investigations for many purposes throughout her career. She regularly conducts informational and admission-seeking interviews of suspected persons and witnesses.

On July 9, 2019, Aissa will be speaking about how to prepare for fraud investigation interviews while navigating the State and Federal rules of admissibility. She will provide a brief caselaw overview and highlight the ACFE ethical rules. Lastly, Aissa will present on current litigation trends and the opportunities being created for certified fraud examiners.
