Presentation Description:

This presentation will be a detailed accounting of a fraud case in which an employee was stealing money from their employer to the tune of approximately $1 million.

The fraud involved money laundering, theft, and the usage of an unauthorized transaction device to steal approximately $977,000 from the company. This discovery and investigation lead to 21 various charges against the one-time senior vice president.

Transactions included $40,000 in "personal clothing purchases" and $31,000 in charges to The Home Depot and also used a website to create fictitious receipts which were later submitted for reimbursement from the company.
