The Central Ohio ACFE Chapter is partnering with the Ohio Auditor of State's Office, the Ohio Attorney General's Office, and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Central Ohio Chapter to host the 20th Annual Emerging Trends in Fraud Investigation & Prevention Conference on May 17^th and 18^th.

Although we have hosted other smaller virtual chapter events, this will be our first hosting of our annual conference within a virtual format. Our event has been preapproved by the ACFE for 16 hours of CPE, including 2.5 hours of available Ethics credit. This will be a fully “live” virtual event, and we will be monitoring attendance through virtual polling during sessions that is required to qualify for CPE. In person this conference has been attracting a little over 650 attendees, and we are already up to a little over 400 almost two months out. We also have virtual conference hub and mobile app through Cvent that includes additional opportunities for networking and a game to help drive engagement during the physically distanced experience.

This year's pricing is more than 50% less than our in-person conference pricing with the same high quality speakers, and we have the event priced at levels that make the event as affordable as we can for all at $145 (government sector) and $195 (private sector). We have both general session and breakout sessions as we typically have and have secured an excellent speaker line up including highly sought after speakers, such as Theresa Payton (Former White House CIO, Cybersecurity Authority, and 2019 Woman Cybersecurity Leader of the Year) and Traci Brown (Fraud-Busting Body Language Expert).
