Presentation: Prevention and Awareness for Anti-victimization

Speaker: Michelle Sacks, Program Manager at Crime Stoppers of Houston

Presentation Description:  Know what you can do to promote personal safety and prevent victimization. Michelle will provide keys to understanding how to safely and anonymously report crimes and potential dangers in the community while engaging parents, faculty, and law enforcement.


Michelle is responsible for the development and maintenance of prevention and awareness programs that emphasize personal safety, anti-victimization and how to safely and anonymously report crimes and potential dangers.

Michelle holds a BA from the University of Houston. Passionate about prevention, she serves as co-chair of Houston Independent School District’s School Health Advisory Council, a committee member of Houston Mayor’s Human Trafficking Task Force, member of the Houston-Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and a mentor to the Houston Police Department’s Youth Police Advisory Council.
