President's corner:Updated Feb 18, 2025 Open Call for Speakers! Are you a dynamic and interesting speaker in the fight against fraud? Do you know someone you can refer? Please email us at events@houstonacfe.org with your speaker proposal or recommendation. Our Conference is October 22-24, 2025, here in Houston at the Norris Conference Center. We are broadening our connections with the universities in the Houston area. We are renewing our relationship with Prairie View A&M and working with Houston Christian University to set up a new chapter. We continue to support our existing chapters at University of Houston Clear Lake and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. Our first ACFE on the road will be March 12. Bianca Saldierna and Rob Rodgers will be speaking to the Ft. Bend Texas Association of Residential Care Homes (TORCH) regarding elder scams.
