General Information

What if I need to cancel my registration? 

You may cancel up to 10 days prior to the event by logging in to your account a and reviewing your events from your profile.  Note that cancellations must be received no later than 10 business days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund.  If you have trouble you may contact

Can I register for the Annual Fraud Conference by phone? 

No.  At this time, we only accept registration online or by email.  However, If you have any problems registering, please let us know and we can walk you through the registration process over the phone if needed.

Is there a conference brochure that I can print out?

Yes. Click on the link to view and print the conference brochure.  

How do I request a manual invoice?

Once you have registered you may login to your account and view your invoice.  If you need assistance you may contact the Chapter Treasurer.

Does my registration fee include meals?

Your registration includes a light breakfast and buffet lunch for both days as well as light refreshments during breaks.  The registration does not include dinner.

I have a group of employees that I'd like to register for the conference, how can I do that?

Group registration is only available for groups of 5 or more.  To register a group, email a list of people in the group by First Name, Last Name and email address to and we will register the group manually.

If I register a group during the early bird period, will my group receive the benefit of both the early bird and group discounts?

No.  Only one discount can be applied to your registration.

When do the discounted periods expire?

The early bird period ends June 30, 2019.  The group discount is available throughout the open registration period until the day before the event.

How do I know if I'm registered? 

You will receive an email confirmation once you have completed the registration.  You can also view all your active registrations for any local chapter event on your user profile by logging in.

When will I receive my name badge? 

Your badge will be in your registration packet and will be available onsite the day of the conference when registration opens.

How can I pay my balance? 

You can pay with a credit card via PayPal or check.  Registration fees are due upon registration.  If you need alternative payment plans please contact the Treasurer.

Do I need a photo ID? 

A photo ID is not required.

How will CPE be reported?

After the conference, the Houston ACFE will send out a brief survey to the email address utilized in your registration requesting feedback on the event.  Once the survey closes, the CPE certificates will be processed and sent via Email.  Please allow up 2-4 weeks for processing.

What do I wear to the conference? 

Dress for all daytime events is business casual. To ensure your comfort during the workshops and other events, please bring a sweater or light jacket. The average October temperatures in Houston range from 55°F to 85°F. 

What is the meal policy? 

Food and beverages will be provided at the following: 

  • Main Conference: Breakfast, mid-morning refreshment break, lunch, mid-afternoon refreshment break
  • Networking Reception:  Refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres. 

What if I have a special dietary need?

Please be sure to make your selection during the registration process.  If you need assistance or have questions you may contact . We will try to make necessary accommodations.

Where will the ACFE Bookstore be located? 

The ACFE Bookstore will be located just outside the Event Hall. Browse the latest titles in anti-fraud education and take advantage of the special savings on select titles.

Can I request that my photo not be taken?

Yes and No.  You can request that your photo not be used in any future marketing or promotion material or be made public, but we cannot guarantee that your photo will not be taken.  During the registration process you will be able to notify us of your preference in the "Media opt-out" selection.  You will be given an identifier to wear during the conference.  Individuals who are given an identifier to wear as an 'opt out' individual are responsible for wearing the identifier prominently and visibly at all times.

Will Wi-Fi be available at Norris Conference Center?

Yes!  Norris Conference Center has WiFi available.*
