The Houston Chapter Board has approved 5 awards in the amount of $500 each to go to 5 selected current members who have submitted a written essay explaining why they should be chosen. The submission period is open now and ends April 14th. The Houston Chapter Board will review the submissions and make a final selection on or before April 21st. Award recipients will be notified by April 24th.
To be considered for this award, email a Word document essay (no more than one page) to firstname.lastname@example.org and describe the reasons you deserve to be one of the five members to receive the award. There are no specified elements that are required to be included in the essay, just be as clear and complete as possible in your description.
